Terminator Genisys is a 2015 American science fiction action film directed by Alan Taylor, and written by Laeta Kalogridis and Patrick Lussier. The film is a soft reboot of the Terminator franchise, taking the basic story of the original film in another direction. It stars Arnold Schwarzenegger, who reprises his role as the Terminator (following his absence in 2009's Terminator Salvation), alongside Jason Clarke, Emilia Clarke (no relation), Jai Courtney, J. K. Simmons, Dayo Okeniyi, Matt Smith, Courtney B. Vance, and Lee Byung-hun.

The moment you said terminator animals, like how the hell has that not been done yet?!?! I really love the idea of a virus that turns flesh into nano-machines, imagine having to fight someone you love because their brain is being hacked and their slowly becoming a terminator. The Terminator Virus...THE T VIRUS XD
"And now with this whole multiverse idea everything seems meaningless." Which is exactly what I've beem trying to explain to this dumbass who seem to think that the franchise post terminator has always been based on multiverse theory. I mean sure, it resolves paradoxes, but it's such a cop out. I mean, why bother worrying about being able to change the future or not or even trying to change your present if all time travel did was create an alternate reality? Not to mention put a strain on reality with all these parallel universes popping up.
I liked "Dodge this" by Trinity before she shot at point blank range.

It's surprising that these two didn't see the trailer for this film, which pretty much gave away that big twist. Wouldn't have save the film any way, because I do think it's the worst so far.

I'm right there with Doug. I have no idea what the creators were thinking when they decided to retcon Terminator 2, one of the best action movies ever. That's just a straight-up bonkers move. That's the kind of thing a clown would do after failing to pop a balloon.

As much as I hate Dark Fate, I have to agree that this is the worst. At least Dark Fate wasn't as boring as this film and was trying a little bit, but this is a complete mess. And its biggest sin is turning John Connor evil. That's like turning Captain America into a Nazi.

I legit enjoyed this movie. I was prepared though when 25 minutes mark struck i fired up my bongo and let the weed do its magic. From there it was smooth sailing.

The Skynet scene was fun. And it had potential if they had gone more in that direction, or if Genesis was something more creative, or John was trying to find some kind of third-way/creative-noncomplience with what Skynet was making him do.

Having to witness Rob and Doug subject themselves to watch all the post-T2 sequels/reboots/BS just breaks my heart...but to subject Buster (wow, did he get big!) to the same torture....NO! NO! NO! A follow-up question to the CA crew...when are we going to see all the cats (Ike, Lloyd, Chaplin, Buster, etc.) do a review of the recent movie adaptation of Cats?
